WHITTIER, Calif. – Following a tough game against Claremont-M-S where they threatened the undefeated Stags, the Whittier College Football team now sets their sights into November with two games remaining on the schedule.

WC Coming into the Game

Whittier is 1-3 in the month of October with their lone win coming against Occidental College on the road 28-13.  They have been outscored 118-61 over their past three games and currently sit 7th in the SCIAC Standings with a 1-6, 1-4 SCIAC record.  They battled last game against Claremont-M-S falling on the road 34-21. 

UR Coming into the Game

In the month of October, Redlands went 3-1 and currently ride a two-game winning streak with wins over La Verne (35-17) and Cal Lutheran (51-23).  On the season the Bulldogs are 6-2, 4-1 SCIAC and currently sit No. 2 in the SCIAC Standings.  Their lone loss in conference play came against Claremont-M-S back on October 13 (20-10).

Whittier – The Poets are putting up numbers on the offensive side of the ball averaging 341.7 yards per game (149 Rushing/192.7 Passing) and 24.6 points per game.  On the defensive side of things, Whittier is giving up 42.6 points per game and allowing teams 469.9 yards of offense (259 Rushing/210.9 Passing).     

Redlands – The Bulldogs are similar to the Poets on offense averaging 352.8 yards per game, while putting up 24.8 points per game.  But on defense, Redlands is tough surrendering a mere 18.1 points per game and 328.9 yards of total offense (64 Rushing/264.9 Passing).
