The Whittier College men’s basketball team for the third time this season have lost to the Sagehens of Pomona-Pitzer 60-53 exiting the SCIAC Post Season Tournament in the semi-finals for the second time in four years.

Poets put up strong showing in exhibition loss to CSU Bakersfield
Willie Membane scored 15 points and added seven rebounds and Nathan Easterman added 13 points and five boards to lead Whittier, but it wasn't enough to pull off the upset as the Poets lost 85-67 in an exhibition game at NCAA Division I CSU Bakersfield on Wednesday evening.
