    The No. 38 ranked Whittier College Women’s Golf team wrapped up their 2017 season this past week at the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championships at Los Serranos Golf Club on the North Course.

    The second and final Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) multi-dual match of the spring took place this weekend at Jurupa Hills Country Club where the Whittier College women’s golf team placed fourth after shooting a 36-hole total of 650 (+82).

    Playing without freshman Taylor Beckwith (Turlock, Calif.) who was out due to illness, the Whittier College Women’s Golf team was still able to edge Vassar College Wednesday 346-348 at Los Serranos Golf Club.

    Freshman Taylor Beckwith (Turlock, Calif.) led the Whittier College Women’s Golf team this week to a 2nd Place finish at the Cal Lutheran Invitational at Sunset Hills Country Club, Par-72, 5806 Yards, as they shot a two round total of 672.

    Sophomore Kajal Vitha (Whittier, Calif.) put together her two best rounds of her collegiate career donning the Purple & Gold over the weekend winning the individual title at the CMS Invite, while leading the Whittier College Women’s Golf team to a 2nd Place finish.

    The No. 29 Ranked Whittier College Women’s Golf team faced tough conditions Tuesday at Diamond Valley Golf Club with rain and cold temperatures but managed to improve by three strokes from day one to finish 3rd during the CA State Intercollegiate shooting a 635.
