ORANGE, Calif. – Due to conflicting schedules, the Whittier College Women's Golf team was only able to send three players down to Tustin Ranch Golf Club Friday to take on Chapman University in a dual match.

Due to the small numbers, Whittier was forced to have their trio play as individuals and not as team against the Panthers.

Kajal Vitha (Whittier, Calif.) led the Purple & Gold finishing in 2nd shooting an 84.  Senior Ciara Clark (Henderson, NV) posted an 88 in a tie for 4th, while freshman Kainani Ho (Waipahu, HI) registered a 93 for 7th.

Chapman's Marisa Bhanubandh took 1st overall posting an 83 and her teammate Emily Lewis tied for 2nd with an 84.

Whittier rounds out their Fall season and will begin their Spring season on February 4 when they take part in a tri-match with Chapman and Pomona-Pitzer at Los Serranos Golf Club.
