Newswanger then ran a solid race in the 200m with a time of 26.98 but it wasn't good enough to get her to the finals. Just as with the men the 3000SC was the closer of the meet Eva Aguilar and she did not disappoint as she raced to a 5th place finish with a time of 11:28.27.
On Day 2 of the championships the Poets have a plethora of athletes competing with big possibilities for making names for themselves in the Whittier College record books.
