This week the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their All-Region teams and the Whittier College Men’s & Women’s Track & Field teams saw six athletes earn NCAA All-West Region recognition.
Over the weekend at the SPIRE Institute for the 2017 NCAA Division III Women’s Track & Field National Championships, Whittier College distance runner Julissa Tobias (Norwalk, Calif.) competed on the national stage for the first time (track) in her career.
Junior Julissa Tobias (Norwalk, Calif.) continues to add to her impressive resume qualifying for the NCAA Division III National Championships for Track & Field announced by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The Whittier College Women’s Track & Field team wrapped up their third dual meet taking 3rd overall picking up wins over Caltech (93-47) and Chapman (103-27), while narrowing missing an upset victory over La Verne (85-70).
The Whittier College Women’s Track & Field team continues to get great individual finishes this season as they again put together a strong effort, this time at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational in preparation for the SCIAC No. 3 meet this weekend.
The Whittier College Men’s and Women’s Track & Field teams represented well at the first Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Multi Dual Saturday as they took on the University of Redlands and Claremont-M-S.
