BRIDGEPORT, Pa. – The Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) released the 2016 women's water polo All-Academic awards earlier this week and seven Poets were honored for their academic performances.

Among the three levels of academic achievement, more than 500 women were selected to this year's elite list. 21 SCIAC student-athletes received "Outstanding" recognition by the ACWPC, meaning those who achieved a GPA between 3.71-4.00. Honored with "Superior" recognition were 32 student-athletes that achieved between a 3.41-3.70 GPA. The 28 SCIAC performers who achieved a GPA between 3.20-3.40 were recognized in the "Excellent" category.
