Whittier College lost 4-0 to Southern California intercollegiate Athletic Conference rival, nationally ranked no. 7 University of Redlands, on October 21.  The Poets are now 2-12 overall and 0-11 in the SCIAC, while Redlands remains in first place in the conference at 15-1 overall and 10-1 in conference play.

Dan Roe '07 made 12 saves in goal for the Poets.  The Redlands offense peppered him with 30 shots and took eight corner kicks.  The Bulldogs scored just once in the first half, finding the back of the net in the 44th minute.  The score remained 1-0 for much of the second half, until Redlands broke through for three goals in the final ten minutes.
