Whittier College lost 3-0 in the first game played in California Lutheran's new Gilbert Arena on September 19.  The Poets are now 0-7 overall and 0-1 in the SCIAC while the Regals improve their record to 5-2 overall, 1-0 in SCIAC play. 

Lisset Madgaleno '10 had six kills and Christa Rainville '08 finished with eight digs, both team-highs for the Poets.
