Whittier College lost their first Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match at home 3-0 (30-14, 30-22, 30-20) to the University of Redlands on September 22.  The Poets are still winless on the year; now 0-8 overall and 0-2 in SCIAC play.  Redlands improved their record to 9-1 overall, 1-0 in the SCIAC.

Jennifer Salas '10 led the Poets with eight digs and two service aces.  Danell Booher '09 added eight digs and Christa Rainville '08 finished with ten assists.  Bibi Gonzales '08 finished with a team-high five kills and added five digs.
