LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif. (Apr. 15, 2026) – Senior attacker
Alexandra Haluska (Brea, Calif. / Brea / Fullerton College) of the Whittier College women's water polo team has been named to Second Team All-SCIAC for her career season in 2026.
Haluska finished the season among the top-five goal scorers both in SCIAC games and for the overall schedule with 64 goals in all competitions. She also notched 79 total points, also putting her among the SCIAC's top-five players.
Haluska scored a season-high seven goals at Fresno Pacific earlier this spring and when SCIAC games kicked in, the senior proved to be Head Coach Preslav Djippov's most consistent, efficient offensive weapon. The strides she made on offense helped lift the Poets to their first SCIAC Postseason Tournament appearance since 2021-22, and for Djippov, the first time the men's and women's water polo teams have seen the SCIAC Tournament in the same season.
