River Danner began as Sports Information Graduate Assistant in 2022 after playing outfield for the Poets as an undergraduate. His career highlights include hitting .345 as a freshman and a five-hit day in a Mar. 23, 2019. He will now join the baseball staff in a Graduate Assistant during the 2024 season.

Danner was a Child Development major and is currently enrolled in Whittier College's two-year Graduate Teaching Fellowship.
