Attended Willow Canyon High School, where he made the All-Region First Team in 2025 and All-Region Second Team in 2024.

Academic Accomplishments
Made the dean's list at Whittier and won the Dysart Student of the Year Scholarship.

Son of Rob and Wendy Kovaly. Has two siblings, Katie and Kensey. Enjoys hiking, fishing, collecting baseball cards, and collecting baseball autographs. Lists Roberto Clemente as the athlete he admires most.
