Michael Benavente is in his third year on the Poets baseballteam.  He was born in Bellflower, CA.  He started playingbaseball when he was three.  He went to play for El RanchoHigh School.  He went to Cerritos College and then transferedto Whittier College.  He is majoring in Business.  Hecredits his success to his parents.
