2019 Baseball All-SCIAC Teams

WHITTIER, Calif. - The 2019 All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) baseball teams were announced Thursday following a vote conducted by the league's member head coaches.

Whittier College Freshman Dane Goodman (Ross, Calif.) highlighted the group by being named the SCIAC Newcomer of the Year after a stellar debut campaign.

Also a first team all-conference recipient, Goodman registered a .365 batting average with 27 hits, which included three doubles, two triples, four homers, and 23 runs driven in. He walked 10 times and swiped five bases while tallying a .442 on-base percentage and a .622 slugging percentage.

He was also named the Whittier College Freshman Athlete of the Year at the Purple & Gold All-Sports Awards Banquet.
