WHITTIER, Calif. – Whittier College Head Football Coach Mike Neale announced his 2019 Schedule Monday, which includes ten games, five of which are at home in the friendly confines of Memorial Stadium.
The Purple & Gold who ended their 33-game losing streak last season in a solid 28-13 road victory over Occidental College looks forward to carrying that momentum into 2019 as they have a favorable line-up in the month of September. They take on Luther College (September 7 @ 11:00am) and Lewis-Clark Valley College (September 14 @ 5:00pm) at home before traveling to the Pacific Northwest to take on Lewis & Clark (September 21 @ 11:00am).
Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) play opens on the road against Chapman University (October 5 @ 7:00pm) and then the Purple & Gold return home to host Occidental College on Saturday, October 12, which will be Homecoming and the annual "Shoes Game".
The very next week they travel to take on the University of La Verne (October 19 @ 5:00pm) before wrapping up the month at home against Pomona-Pitzer (October 26 @ 1:00pm). Whittier remains at home to open November against Claremont-M-S (November 2 @ 1:00pm) and then travel for their final two games against the University of Redlands (November 9 @ 7:00pm) and Cal Lutheran University (November 16 @ 1:00pm).
