Andrew Jacobs brings nearly two decades of coaching and educational experience to the collegiate level, with a career centered on teaching, player development, and building football programs from the ground up. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Master’s degree in Education, credentials that strongly inform his structured, student-athlete–focused coaching philosophy.

Jacobs’ coaching background is in developing technically sound, disciplined offensive and defensive linemen, with an emphasis on fundamentals, physicality, and football IQ. He began his coaching career at Segerstrom High School (2008–2009) as an Offensive Line Coach, before spending 2010–2018 at El Toro High School as an Offensive Line and Defensive Line Coach, working extensively with linemen on both sides of the ball.

From 2018–2025, Jacobs was a key member of the San Juan Hills High School football staff, serving as Assistant Head Coach, Run Game Coordinator, and Offensive Line Coach for the Stallions. During the 2018–2019 season, Coach Jacobs worked with Sean Rhyan, now a center for the Green Bay Packers, further underscoring his experience developing offensive linemen who have progressed to the highest levels of the game. His leadership and developmental approach helped contribute to the Stallions’ 2019 CIF Championship.

Known for his ability to connect with student-athletes, Coach Jacobs emphasizes accountability, work ethic, and academic success. His educator’s mindset drives a teaching-first approach, focused on preparing players for success on the field, in the classroom, and beyond.
