WHITTIER, Calif. – After a long break from competition, the Whittier College Men's Basketball team is set to return to the court this Sunday, December 16 when they travel to take on Occidental College beginning at 4:00pm.

WC Coming into the Game

The Poets stopped their four-game losing skid this past Saturday as they hosted Johnson & Wales.  They exacted revenge on the Wildcats after a loss a week prior by winning 74-72.  Whittier is now 2-6, 0-1 SCIAC.

OXY Coming into the Game

The Tigers have won seven in a row and are a perfect 7-0, 1-0 SCIAC.  They hold a 4-0 mark at home with wins over Caltech, West Coast Baptist, Rhodes, Cal Miramar, and the University of La Verne.  Their last win came against Cal Miramar on December 8 where they won 96-61.
