Kenyatta Louder named 2nd Team All-SCIAC

2018-19 Men's Basketball All-SCIAC Teams

WHITTIER, Calif. - The 2019 All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) men's basketball teams were announced Friday following a vote conducted by the league's member head coaches.

Junior transfer Kenyatta Louder (Compton, Calif.) found himself on the 2nd Team for the first time in his career after leading the Purple & Gold to a 10-15, 7-9 SCIAC record and a 5th place finish in the final SCIAC Standings.

This season Louder averaged 16.0 PPG, while shooting 44.8% from the field and 37.1% from behind the arc.  He totaled 400 points with 210 rebounds, 24 assists, 12 steals and 12 blocks.

Within conference he ranked No. 1 in total rebounds, defensive rebounds, and rebounds per game.  He was No. 9 in points, points per game, No. 10 in field goals, and No. 11 in blocks.
