Prior to Whittier
Attended Napa High School, where he was named Attacking Player of the Year in both his sophomore and junior seasons. Also earned First Team All–Vine Valley Athletic League honors in each of those two years.

Academic Accomplishments
Made the Dean’s List at Whittier College during both his freshman and sophomore years.

Personal
Son of Sarah Van Giesen and Robert Clark. Has one sibling, Ian. Enjoys playing golf, working on cars, hiking, skiing, camping, and running. Lists Wayne Rooney as the athlete he admires most.
