Professional Athlete I Admire: Softball shortstop Sis Bates is an athlete that I admire because she is one of the best shortstops in professional softball and throughout her collegiate years. She's gotten so many Defensive Player of the Year awards, All-American awards, and had 200+ hits in her first three seasons. She is always making unbelievable plays and plays with so much confidence.

High School Achievements: MVP (2015); MVP (2018)

Reason You Chose Whittier: I chose whittier college because I wanted a college close to home, a small college, and a school that had a balance on prioritizing academics and being able to play the sport that I love. Both of my former JC coaches attended and played at Whittier, and had good experiences here as well which helped to make my decision.
