Rio Hondo College:Â Began her collegiate career playing infield for Rio Hondo of the community college ranks, for whom she posted a slash line of .419.462/.581 in 2021-22 with 31 RBI in 36 games...hit nine triples and five doubles...had 12 multi-hit games, seven 3+hit games, one 4-hit game and one 5-hit game...Went 5-5 with a double, triple and 6 RBI March 22, 2022...Went 4-4 with two doubles and 2 RBI in the first game of the Jan. 28, 2022 doubleheader...had an eight-game hitting streak Apr. 7 -22 (.400 BA)...Earned Second Team All-South Coast Conference Honors
Why You Chose Whittier:Â I chose Whittier College because I got the opportunity to continue my softball career, as well as for the wonderful art program, facilities and professors.
Hobbies: I’m interested in video games, photography, painting, and digital art.
Athlete You Admire: Growing up, I’ve always admired former UCLA softball player and coach Sue Enquist. My dad and I would always listen to her speeches and be inspired after every one. I still use some of her philosophies to this day, like “getting one percent better" each time/day.
