Transferred from Long Beach City College, where she helped her team capture a South Coast Conference Championship. Previously attended Fullerton College. Prior to that, attended Granite Hills High School.

Daughter of Donelle Obregon and Emiliano Zapata. Has two siblings, Julian and Audrina. Enjoys being outdoors, camping, and listening to music. Lists Sierra Romero as the athlete she admires most.
