Janett joined the Sports Medicine staff as Assistant Athletic Trainer in January of 2023. She primarily works with softball, women’s water polo, swim, and tennis teams. Before being a full-time employee, Janett was a part-time employee at Whittier college working the final season with our Poets football team.
Janett received her B.S. in Movement and Sport Science from the University of La Verne. She then went on to earn her M.S. in Athletic Training from Azusa Pacific University (2022). While in her graduate program, Janett gained clinical experience working with West Ranch High School, APU softball, CMS football, and Whittier College men’s lacrosse. Janett valued the connections made with the student-athletes so much that she decided she needed to come back!
Janett currently resides in La Puente, enjoying the outdoors, traveling and trying different eateries.
