WHITTIER, Calif. – Freshman diver Megan Thai (Alhambra, Calif.) has made her way into the record books this week earning a spot in the NCAA Division III National Swimming & Diving Championships.
She becomes the second diver in school history to qualify for the National Championships. The previous qualifier is Hall of Famer Charlotte (Michel) Kochman who earned a spot at Nationals three times in her career.
At the NCAA Regionals Thai finished 5th on the 3-meter with a score of 371.60 and then posted a 355.30 on the 1-meter, which put her 8th.
The NCAA Division III National Championships will take place March 20-23 in Greensboro, N.C.
