WHITTIER, Calif. - The 2019 All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Women's Volleyball teams were announced Monday following a vote conducted by the league's member head coaches.
Popoff led the Poets within conference play totaling 173 kills, averaging 3.09 kills per set. She also added nine assists, a service ace, 85 digs and 11 blocks. She also accumulated 180 points, averaging 3.2 points per set. In SCIAC Popoff ranked No. 4 in Total Attacks, No. 5 in kills, and No. 5 in kills per set.
Overall she put up big numbers in just her second season with the Purple & Gold. She totaled 313 kills, averaging 3.19 kills per set with 172 digs, 21 blocks, and 330 points. She ranked No. 2 in kills, No. 3 in Total Attacks, No. 3 in Points, and No. 5 in Points Per Set. On the season she totaled 16 matches where she accumulated double digit kills, which included a career high 22 coming on three different occasions (UC Santa Cruz, Pomona-Pitzer, La Verne).
