Sean Hamilton joined the Whittier College staff as a Graduate Assistant after receiving his B.A. in Kinesiology from Whittier. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education from Whittier College.

Hamilton was a member of the Poets football team from 2016-19 and voted Captain by his teammates for the Fall 2019 season. While completing his undergraduate studies, he was a member of the Poet Student-Athlete Leadership Academy, a program that provides athletes with the tools necessary to be successful leaders of their team.

As a player, Hamilton was recognized as an All-State (Nevada) Safety by the Las Vegas Review Journal, leading the state in interceptions his senior year at Foothill High School. He continued his career at Whittier College and, in his final season, led the team in tackles and interceptions, earning team Defensive Back of the Year.
