Poets move back up to No. 2 in CWPA Polls

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. - The Collegiate Water polo Association (CWPA) released its fourth poll for women's water polo Wednesday morning and Whittier moves back up to No. 2 in the polls with 95 points after being at No. 3 last week. 

Claremont-M-S remains atop the standings with 98 points, while Pomona-Pitzer drops to No. 3 (91), and Cal Lutheran (84) remaining at No. 4.  Occidental who was at No. 6 last week moves into a tie with Chapman at No. 5 with 75 points and Redlands and La Verne wrap up the SCIAC schools at No. 7 (74) and No. 8 (61), each respectively.   

Rounding out the Top 10 includes Washington & Jefferson and Carthage College who both sit tied at No. 9 with 37 points. 

Whittier returns to the pool this this afternoon, Thursday, March 27 as they host Division I Brown University at 4:00pm before taking on Redlands this Saturday, March 20 at 11:00am.
