Poets move into a tie for first in CWPA Polls

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. - The Collegiate Water polo Association (CWPA) released its fifth poll for women's water polo Wednesday morning and Whittier moves up a spot and are now tied for first in the polls with Claremont-M-S with 97 points after being at No. 2 last week.

Pomona-Pitzer drops to No. 4 (85), and Cal Lutheran (90) moves up to No. 3 in the polls.  Chapman (79) who was tied for fifth last week has now moved solely into the spot with Occidental (74) dropping to No. 6.  The University of Redlands (73) and La Verne (61) round out the other SCIAC programs at No. 7 and No. 8, respectively with Washington & Jefferson (57) and Connecticut College (50) rounding out the Top 10.    

Whittier returns to the pool this evening, Wednesday, April 2 as they travel to Thousand Oaks, Calif. at 5:00pm to take on Cal Lutheran University.
