Whittier College was held to just one shot as they lost 5-0 to University of California-Santa Cruz in non-conference competition at Donald E. Graham Soccer Field on October 1.  The Poets (0-7) have yet to score a goal this season and they were out shot 40-1 by UC-Santa Cruz (9-0-2).
