Whittier College lost to California Lutheran University 8-0 at Donald E. Graham Soccer Field on September 20.  The Poets are now 0-4, 0-3 in the SCIAC while the Regals improve their record to 1-6, 1-2 in SCIAC play. 

Lowhren Aceves '10 had six saves for the Poets.  Cal Lutheran out shot Whittier 21-2.  The Poets did not have a shot in the second half, and did not have a shot on goal in the entire game.  The Regals started the scoring in the 10th minute and added two more for a 3-0 halftime lead.  The second half brought about the same frustrations for the Poets, Cal Lutheran got on the board again in the 57th minute and then scored four goals in twelve minutes to end the game with the 8-0 score.
