Whittier College Women's Soccer was shut out 3-0 when they traveled to California Lutheran University on October 18.  The Poets are now 0-13 overall and 0-9 in SCIAC play.

Cal Lutheran scored all of their goals in the first half.  They got their first in the 10^th minute when Jennifer Jones found the back of the net.  In the 21^st minute, Jones scored her second goal off a rebound.  They added their third goal in the 40^th minute.

Whittier goalkeeper Lea Betsworth '12 made eight saves in goal for the Poets.  She faced 23 shots from the Regals.

The Poets are in action again on October 22, when they play host to the University of Redlands.  Kick-off for the SCIAC contest is scheduled for 4:00pm.
