CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Whittier College women's soccer team saw Pomona-Pitzer use a big second half tallying five goals en route to the lopsided 6-0 victory.

Once again the story was the tale of two halves with the Poets holding the Sagehens to just one goal on just eight shots in the first half, but in the second PP added another 14 before outshooting the Poets 22-2 on the morning.

Both Ashlin Steele (San Diego, Calif.) and Madison Shipherd (Whittier, Calif.) took shots on the day with both being on goal but that was the lone offense generated as Pomona-Pitzers Allie Tao would steal the show scoring the final three goals of the game within a six minute span helping propel the Sagehens to the victory.

Whittier returns to action next week for their final two games of 2013 when they host La Verne (Wednesday, October 30 @ 7:00pm) before hosting Claremont-M-S (Saturday, November 2 @ 4:00pm).
