CLAREMONT, Calif. (Sept. 28, 2022) - Whittier's seven-game undefeated streak was snapped Wednesday on the road in a 2-0 loss to CMS.

The Poets' season-low two shots on goal came from freshman Alanis Cervantes and senior Olivia Hamm. Senior Vanessa Martinez saved four of the six shots on goal she saw, recording her first loss of the 2022 campaign.

The Athenas' goals came in the 53rd and 79th minutes.

Whittier next travels to Redlands to play Saturday, October 1, at 4 p.m.
