Following a careful review of the women's lacrosse program, Whittier College has made the difficult decision to discontinue the sport as a varsity offering. 

The decision reflects the College's inability over recent years to sustain the roster size necessary to support the program over the long term. Throughout this process, our focus has remained on the student-athlete experience and ensuring that current and incoming students receive individualized guidance and support.
