  • Carl came to Whittier College after an All Foothill League career in Basketball at Woodrow Wilson High School, graduating in 1940

  • 3 year Basketball letter winner, 1941-42, 42-43, 46-47

  • Frosh Basketball, 1940-1941

  • All SCIAC 1st Team, 1942-43, 46-47

  • Starter on the 26-1 Basketball Team, 1946-47, the winningest team at that time

  • Played in the NAIA Tournament in Kansas City

  • Named to Coach Bonham’s All-Time team as a Guard

  • 1 Football letter, 1942-43

  • After graduation from Whittier, Carl played one season with the Los Angeles Red Devils, who were considered the first pro-exhibition Basketball team in Southern California, while also coaching the Whittier College Frosh Basketball team

  • Carl served for 30 years as a special agent of the FBI, retiring in 1978
