Norm was born in Glendale, California in 1945, grew up in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to Prescott, Arizona in 1958
He played and lettered in football all four years at Prescott High School and was named an Arizona All-State Football player at offensive center 1962-63
Norm was recruited by Whittier College to attend school and pl;ay football
Norm was also Resident Advisor at Wanberg Hall and Co-Resident Advisor at Murphy Hall
Norm is a member of the Orthogonian Society
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Psychology from Whittier, he received official letters of invitation from the National Football League Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos to tryout for their teams
At the same time, he was drafted by the United States Army
Norm entered the military in August 1968 and graduated from Officer Candidate School in August 1969 and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in Military Intelligence
Norn served four years in the Army, one tour of duty in Vietnam, promoted to the rank of Captain and was awarded awarded a “Bronze Star” for Meritorious Service
Upon his return to the United States, Norm completed his Masters in Education at Chapman University and taught school for two yeasts
He then transitioned into real estate, real estate development in Southern California and Florida, banking in California and New England, and accounting and tax professional services in NEw England and Southern California

“Stormin’s” greatest blessings are his wife Christine, his children Todd, Kim and Tricia and grandchildren Dallas, Taylor, Logan, REagan, Jacob, Lucas and Drew.
