One of the many prominent members of the Class of 1934, Kenny Ball came to Whittier from Bell High School where he was president of the student body, captain of the track team and played basketball.

At Whittier, Kenny captained the track team and was president of the Franklin Society and, as a graduate, was the driving force behind the founding of the Whittier College Athlete Hall of Fame.

Named “Outstanding Citizen of the Year” by the City of Whittier, Ken was the owner of the Quaker Maid Dairy, where he found work for many of the College athletes. He is a past president of the Whittier Area Chamber of Commerce, and has been active in many community affairs.

He twice served as President of the College Alumni Association and was honored with the Whittier College Alumni Service Award.
