  • Honorable Mention, All-SCIAC (77-78) - Left Field

  • First Team All-SCIAC (78-79) - Right Field

  • First Team All-SCIAC (79-80)- Catcher

  • NCAA Division III District All-Star (79-80) - Catcher

  • NCAA Division II All-American (79-80) - Catcher

  • Team Captain (78-79)

 

Frank enjoyed a marvelous career on the men’s baseball team. During his senior season (1979-80), he batted .383, knocked in 26 runs and had 26 hits - seven of which were doubles, placing him first in the SCIAC. Following his career with the Poets, he played professionally for three seasons in the Mexican League, then went on to become an accomplished film actor. His roles span commercials, TV and movies, including Taking Care of Business, in which he worked alongside future HAll of Fame players Roger Clemens and Bert Blylevan.
