Eddie came to the poets from Lyons, Kansas via Covina High School.

He won three Varsity Football letter and three Baseball letters at Whittier College.

All Conferences S.C.I.A. in Baseball in 1938,39,40.

Captain of the Baseball Team in 1940.

Voted most valuable player and elected to the All Southern California Board of Baseball.

He was nicknamed “Iron Man” for his strong play.

He pitched four double header (9 and & innings) games against Santa Barbara, SanDiego, Cal Tech, and Redlands.

After graduation he spent several years in the U.S. Army.

Eddie served as Sales Manager for an Electrical company in Los Angeles all of his working life. 

Died September 1980.
